I mentioned in one of the previous articles that I don’t want to enable HA at this moment and will enable it later. This is later and Enabling HA is really easy.
Why I didn’t enable it during installation because you sometimes need to disable or enable it to fix some problems.
open your vSphere Client and right click on Cluster and go to edit Settings
As I mentioned previous article, I’d like to show you how to change the IP address.
Open ESX host session and look left bottom corner, you’ll see F2 Customize System/View Logs
That means press F2
I know that we are getting somewhere. Vcenter server is ready. The datacentre and cluster are ready.
Let’s add some hosts which is easy, you will see
Right click on your cluster name and choose add host
As you know, we have installed vcenter server and other components. It is now to add hosts to vcenter server. Before adding hosts, you must create a datacentre which is really easy. Connect to vcenter server and right click on your vcenter server name on left menu. When it is created, just rename it.

When vCenter server 5.1 is installed, you will release that problem. 4-6-8 GB memory not enough for Java. I don’t always like Java and now it is a problem again . That screenshot has been taken 3 minutes after my server is booted up.

As you can see below, all prerequisites are already completed. This is the most critical moment of the installation.
Begin to install
SSO is configured and now we will install Inventory service to vcenter server
Open installation DVD and choose Inventory service and click on install button
Now, SSO and Web client are installed to vCenter server. Let’s configure SSO .

When SSO is installed, we can pass second step which is Web client installation I will try to explain in this article.
Open Vmware vSphere 5.1 DVD and click on Vmware vSphere Webclient
As you can see, to install web client, SSO must have been installed.

Open Vmware vSphere DVD on your Windows 2008 or Windows 2012 server and then Click vCenter Single Sign On
Prerequisites are Windows .NET 3.5 SP1 and Windows Installer 4.5 that is required if you use bundled SQL server 2008 r2 sp1.
